Senior Living Communities Success Story -
Challenge: An Ohio senior housing management firm was considering the purchase of a troubled 94-unit independent living facility in Central Florida. Management needed to know if the facility was marketable and needed a better understanding of what they would have to do to turn around perceptions of the property.
JCS Solution: Our work included a comprehensive review of the market area, competition, community dynamics and demographics. We conducted extensive primary research in the community to obtain independent insight regarding the reasons why the property had failed and to determine if the property could be effectively remarketed to the community. We made numerous recommendations on how to reposition this distressed property.
Results: Our review was utilized by management in their decision-making process and our client was successful in obtaining financing to acquire the property. The property is successfully operating today.
